  • PRF is a natural injectable treatment prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Platelets are held within a fibrin matrix and injected into targeted scalp areas to release growth factors gradually and support healthier-looking hair over time.

  • PRF and PRP are prepared differently. PRF retains a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors gradually, while PRP concentrates platelets in plasma. Suitability is discussed during consultation.

  • PRF may be considered for selected people with hair thinning. A clinical assessment is essential to explore possible causes, review scalp health and determine whether treatment is appropriate.

  • Treatment schedules vary according to your concerns and clinical assessment. The Revitalise Programme includes four PRP or PRF sessions, while standalone plans are personalised.

  • Temporary redness, tenderness or swelling can occur. Follow the personalised aftercare provided and contact the clinic if you experience symptoms that concern you.

  • Baseline clinical photography and follow-up reviews are used to discuss progress, treatment response and the next stage of your plan. Results and timelines vary.
