WHAT IS THE DAY 2 LATERAL FLOW TEST (LFT) SCHEME

If you’ve been abroad, from 9th January 2022, fully vaccinated will be able to take a lateral flow test on or before day two of their arrival back in the UK, rather than a PCR Test.

ENTRY INTO UK REQUIRES ALL TRAVELLERS TO PRE-PURCHASE A COVID-19 DAY 2 LFT PACK, WHICH WILL CONTAIN A UNIQUE REFERENCE NUMBER, ENABLING THE COMPLETION OF A PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM.

Travellers will need to take a photo of their test and booking reference supplied by the private provider, and send it back to them to verify the result.

Anyone who tests positive will be provided with a free NHS PCR test to verify their result.

THE SERVICE EXPLAINED

1. Book a Day 2 LFT Travel Test Package with us then fill out your passenger locator form using your unique package booking reference.

2. We send you a unique reference number via email, as well as arrange delivery or a collection point at one of our branches of your DAY 2 Antigen LFT pack.

3.Fill in your passenger locater form on the government portal.

4. Carry out the antigen test on or before day two of your arrival back in the UK and take a photo of their test and booking reference supplied by the private provider, and send it back to them to verify the result.

5. As soon as result is available, you will be notified if you are positive or negative by email.
