Many countries such as the UAE, Hong Kong and Japan now require a negative PCR test result, with a confirmation that the individual is fit to travel and thus can access the desired country. Our Lab is accredited by UKAS specifically for COVID-19 testing which is the necessary entry requirement for airlines and countries. UKAS is the only national accreditation body recognised by the British government. The PCR test (Travel Test) works by detecting the presence of COVID-19 viral RNA during the earliest stages after exposure to the virus and should be undertaken when symptoms of an infection begin to show. The PCR works by collecting a throat swab sample, which is then sent to the lab for testing.
